Zero Trash Initiative
https://zerotrashrsm.wixsite.com/website
The Zero Trash Initiative has arrived in Rancho Santa Margarita as of April 5, 2014 with the support of the RSM Chamber of Commerce, numerous local business partners, and the City of RSM. Brad McGirr, the city mayor, leads the Zero Trash Initiative and is currently working with Supervisor Bartlett to expand the program county wide.
The FIRST SATURDAY of every month, volunteers meet in the shopping center courtyard between Cinepolis and Panera in RSM across from the fountain outside the Bell Tower Regional Community Center and will pick up trash locally from 10am-12pm. Local businesses can sponsor this program and advertise their commitment to our community. To find out how, please contact: RSMCares@belltowerfoundation.org. Because it's not about the trash today, it's about the trash tomorrow and mentoring our community's future generations. |
A VERY SPECIAL "THANK YOU" TO OUR LOCAL ZEROTRASH SPONSORS:
RSM Arts Program
Inspiring creativity through visual arts, dance and music.
RSM Cares is pleased to introduce our first featured artist - Jim McLaughlin - RSM resident, artist and Laguna Beach Art-A-Fair exhibitor. Jim discovered his love of art at the young age of 8 years old and eventually graduated with his master's degree from USC. Early in his career, Jim was forced put away his brushes due to the demands of family life which included his beloved daughter Julie who has a rare neurological disorder called Rett Syndrome. Retirement in 2018 has afforded Jim the time to pursue his talents once again. Greeting cards of his art piece are available for purchase down below.
5 Greeting Cards for $20
Envelopes are included. All proceeds are tax deductible.
Are you a local artist or photographer that is interested in displaying your work at The Bell Tower Community Center? Contact us at admin@belltowerfoundation.org for more information! You can also contact us through our contact page.
