RSM Cares Food Pantry
We are "Neighbors Helping Neighbors". RSM Cares is proud to host a Food Pantry twice a month (currently drive-thru style due to COVID).
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, volunteers need to be at least 13 years old. Volunteers ages 13 - 15 must be accompanied by their parent. Volunteers 16 or older may volunteer on their own.
All volunteers must sign a wavier. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
The RSM Cares Food Pantry has been featured in the OC Register! You can read the article here.
We serve over 200 families each Pantry distribution plus homebound seniors, (partnering with Age Well). Anyone who gets in line, gets food! We do not judge. It is both a humbling and courageous experience to visit a food pantry. All are welcome! "Come Empty, Leave Filled" with food and love. Everyone who comes through will get fresh fruits and vegetables, non-perishable canned goods, plus get food while it lasts and even occasional surprises!
The Pantry is held the first and thired Wednesday of each month from 2pm to 4pm. Participants line up and drive through the Shepherd of the Hills Methodist Church parking lot located at 30605 Avenida de las Flores, RSM 92688. For a calendar of Food Pantry days please go to rsmcares.org/food-pantry-calender.
Interested in volunteering? Want to learn more? Only twice a month! Volunteers ages 16 and above are welcome from 9am to 5pm. Kids 13-15 are also welcome with a guardian in attendance during distribution from 2-4:30pm. Best part about volunteering, you can come and go on your schedule. We need help from 9am to 5pm setting up the pantry, accepting and sorting donations, distributing the food to clients and clean up! To get involved and find out how you can help your community food pantry - please visit rsmcares.org/food-pantry-volunteer.
We kindly rely on the Time, Talents, and Treasures of our Supporters, Donators and Volunteers. It is important to know RSM Food Pantry is a 100% volunteer run 501(c) 3 not for profit organization. No salaries or overhead! Your donation goes so much farther! We absolutely could not do what we do without our sponsors and your support! If you want to make a difference in your community, please consider contributing/supporting RSM Food Pantry. Check out the amazing supporters we have at rsmcares.org/food-pantry-sponsors.
RSM Cares | Bell Tower Foundation loves our senior population here in Rancho Santa Margarita. Care packages and goodie bags are prepared many times during the year and are distributed together with Age Well Senior Services to many of our homebound senior population. Volunteers join us in gathering toiletries, blankets, summer fun gift bag items and the likes throughout the year. If you have a heart for seniors please go to rsmcares.org/get-involved for opportunities to join us!
Zero Trash Initiative
In partnership with the City of Rancho Santa Margarita and the RSM Chamber of Commerce, RSM Cares gathers with volunteers the first Saturday of every month from 10am-12pm to pick up trash at a specific location. Volunteers meet at 9:45am outside the Cinépolis (30632 Santa Margarita Pkwy, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688) at RSM Town Center and across the street from the fountain outside of City Hall and the Bell Tower Community Center, and then head to a specific location for that Saturday. Local businesses can sponsor this program and advertise their commitment to our community. We will list all sponsors on the RSM Cares website. To find out how to sponsor you may contact rsmcares.org/zero-trash-sponsor. Please join us for the monthly comradery because it's not about the trash today, it's about the trash tomorrow and mentoring our community's future generations!
2/5 Marine Battalion - Camp Pendleton
In partnership with Camp Pendleton's Family Readiness Officer and local groups such as Team 2/5 RSM, The Bell Tower Foundation supports the needs of our Marines and their families. We contribute to the Operation Enduring Freedom Monument at Camp Pendleton. We also support deployments and homecomings with snack bags and hand-made cards to Marines from local children and residents, as well as collections throughout the year from the community for holiday celebrations and other special events. Please join us by going to rsmcares.org/get-involved to see how you can help!

Kids of RSM
RSM Cares supports the kids of Rancho Santa Margarita and the southeastern portion of Orange County through organizations such as the Boy and Girl Scouts of America and the Boys and Girls Club.
Boy Scout Troop 618 is the oldest troop in Rancho Santa Margarita. Established in 1990, they celebrated their 25th Anniversary in 2015 at the Bell Tower Community Center. Troop 618 is a highly active troop in our schools and in our community.
We support the Boys & Girls Club "Club on the Road" program designed to mentor youth and teens in a safe, supervised and fun environment through outdoor recreation.
Thank you to all of our brick sponsors! Visit the bricks at City Hall today.
Thank you to those who became a special part of RSM by sponsoring a commemorative, engraved brick. Bricks are located in the heart of RSM at the Rancho Santa Margarita Civic Plaza and Regional Community Center's east walkway, where the original legacy bricks reside. RSM Cares | Bell Tower Foundation Gift-a-Brick fundraiser is a great way to highlight your business or organization, honor a loved one, celebrate a birthday, anniversary or graduation.
It's almost time again for the opportunity to sponsor a commemorative, engraved brick that will join others already in place. Please check back soon for details on how you can participate!
If you would like to be added to our interest list for a possible future Gift-a-Brick fundraiser, please email us at rsmcares.org/gift-a-brick-campaign.

RSM Arts Program
Inspiring creativity through visual arts, dance and music.
RSM Cares is pleased to introduce our first featured artist - Jim McLaughlin - RSM resident, artist and Laguna Beach Art-A-Fair exhibitor. Jim discovered his love of art at the young age of 8 years old and eventually graduated with his master's degree from USC. Early in his career, Jim was forced put away his brushes due to the demands of family life which included his beloved daughter Julie who has a rare neurological disorder called Rett Syndrome. Retirement in 2018 has afforded Jim the time to pursue his talents once again. Greeting cards of his art piece are available for purchase down below.
5 Greeting Cards for $20
Envelopes are included. All proceeds are tax deductible.
