Our Initiatives

RSM Cares | Bell Tower Foundation initiated in 2001 as the support mechanism for the funding and build of today's Bell Tower Regional Community Center. Since that time RSM Cares has transitioned into a true community foundation connecting a myriad of elements in the community to include residents, organizations, and local businesses.

Our goal is to continue to emerge as a community foundation that partners with local groups to further causes. This means support through monetary donations, use of our volunteer list and launching programs that support those in need and the different generations in our community. We seek to embrace, engage and enrich residents and stay flexible in how and to whom we contribute.

RSM Cares Connects

  • 2/5 Marines | In partnership with Camp Pendleton's Family Readiness Officer and local groups such as Team 2/5 RSM, The Bell Tower Foundation supports the needs of our Marines and their families.  We contributed to the Operation Enduring Freedom Monument at Camp Pendleton.  We support deployments and homecomings with snack bags and hand-made cards to Marines from local children and residents, as well as collections throughout the year from the community for holiday celebrations and events.
  • RSM Teen Council | RSM Cares | Bell Tower Foundation manages teens in the community who wish to contribute their time to local causes.  This special group volunteers time at Age Well Senior Services' events, as well as supports local community events provided for children.  RSM Cares | Bell Tower Foundation, also, works closely with Lion's Heart, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts to engage the next generation in the community.
  • Senior Support | RSM Cares | Bell Tower Foundation, through the use of a Community Development Block Grant in conjunction with Age Well Senior Services, coordinated and repaired over a dozen homes in the local community at no cost to the resident.  This included the addition of carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detector maintenance and repair.  The Bell Tower Foundation, also, partners with local homes for seniors to provide support.
  • Zero Trash | In partnership with the RSM Chamber of Commerce and Council Member, Brad McGirr, the first Saturday of every month, volunteers will pick up trash at specified location from 10am-12pm.  Local businesses can sponsor this program and advertise their commitment to our community.  To find out how, please contact: admin@belltowerfoundation.org. Because it's not about the trash today, it's about the trash tomorrow and mentoring our community's future generations.
