Mission bells have a long standing significance in California’s history. In early days, the bells were often used as a way to bring people together to hear the latest news or to come and celebrate.  Individuals and families would hear the bells ring and make their way to the gathering spot.

Although times have changed, the need to have a central gathering place for residents is still a vital element in any community.

The Bell Tower Foundation was created in 2001 to help raise funds to build the Bell Tower Regional Community Center (BTRCC). On November 4, 2004, the Bell Tower Regional Community Center opened its doors and began offering programs, services and classes to residents of southwest OC communities.

Today The Bell Tower Foundation serves as a regional Community Foundation. As a Community Foundation, The Bell Tower Foundation continues its heartfelt commitment to raise funds to support local organizations and initiatives that serve to better our community.

The Bell Tower Foundation is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors who meet monthly to ensure that the mission of the Foundation continues to lead and support fundraisers, programs and events that will enhance the quality of life for all local residents and business.
