YOGA BRINGS CALMNESS TO A HECTIC SCHEDULE!
For many of us, daily life is filled with an over active calendar of events that leave us feeling stressed and exhausted. The Bell Tower Regional Community Center’s “Yoga With Roz” classes may be “just what the Dr. ordered” to help bring calmness to anyone’s hectic life.
Yoga instructor Roz Maissy discovered the benefits of yoga over 17 yeas ago and has been an enthusiast ever since. She has studied with a variety of teachers, and has developed an eclectic style of teaching into her Hatha Yoga teaching. The philosophies of yoga are universal and emphasize the union of mind, body and spirit through a practice of yoga postures, yoga breathing and yoga body gestures.
The benefits of yoga include the chance to tone and stretch your body as well as learning a series of relaxation techniques that release body tension and calm the nervous system.

Roz’s spring line-up offers different levels of yoga classes that meet the needs of both beginners and intermediate yoga participants. “Yoga is for both men and women” states Roz. “And the Bell Tower offers the perfect setting for my classes. The community center’s warm and intimate atmosphere allows me to get to know all of my participants and really maximize teaching the yoga techniques that benefit the whole class.”
Looking beyond her Spring classes, Roz is planning to offer a kids yoga class this summer for ages 7 years and up.
